HIV/AIDS, question 4.
HIV/AIDS is a terrible disease that has led to many deaths. We need to make more of an effort to help slow down and eventually put an end to the spread of HIV/AIDS, and maybe one day, a cure! Throughout Africa, a poor country, HIV/AIDS is spreading rapidly. This disease leaves grandparents to take care of their grandchildren because they're parents have died, it leaves husbands with no wives, wives with no husbands. Also, young, innocent children are born with HIV/AIDS because they're mother had this disease when she was pregnant, the child automatically has to live his/her whole life with HIV/AIDS. Currently, in Africa, there are about 22.4 million people living with HIV/AIDS! Starting from the beginning of the epidemic, over 14 million children have lost either 1, or both of their parents to HIV/AIDS, leaving them alone, or their tired and worn out grandparents to take care of them. This disease must be put to an end! We have to do our part to stop this terrible and life threatening disease. We should pay attention to fundraisers, and organize some of our own. If the Terry Fox run works for cancer, why can't we try something along those lines for HIV/AIDS? Let's try it, and focus more about this virus. Before, Black Death was the worst pandemic in history, since then, HIV/AIDS has taken over the title and is the worst pandemic disease right now! This is a news flash, we need to put an end to HIV/AIDS, and try to find a cure!
