Internet is a huge part of society and our everyday lives. Why not make it easier to access for where ever you are in the school? Wi-Fi at ROMS could really make learning easier for the students as well as the teachers for accessing google as well as learning websites. Most teachers are brain washed to think that all students will only use Internet for facebook and twitter and all these "terrible" websites. Yes, students do use it for facebook, but we also use it for google, learning sites, and YouTube, which is great for searching educational videos. Also, some teachers think that Wi-Fi could be a distraction while class. Well instead of it being a distraction, think of it as being a more accessible feature in the new, improved Royal Oak. Instead of having ALL the students for each class use up 30 computers and having to book a time for each block and having to share with ALL the teachers is a big pain, instead we could simply just stay in our classrooms and our teacher could have an eye on us, as long as doing is own personal work in the class. Wi-Fi is not a bad thing! All the principals and teachers are convinced that all Wi-Fi is, is a bad distraction, and they never think about the "pro's" and only think about the "con's" which is silly. As you can tell Wi-Fi is a great idea and that Mr. B should definitely think about giving us the password, we can prove to you that it's worth it, and we won't let you down!
