One of the things I am looking forward to are the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games. My favourite sport is either hockey or snowboarding. The sports other than these are alpine skiing, biathlon, bobsled, cross country, curling, figure skating, freestyle skiing, luge, Nordic combined, short track, skeleton, ski jumping, and speed skating. The most challenging sport I think is, Biathlon. I think this because first you have to use most of your energy cross-country skiing, and then you have to use the last of it shooting targets. There are three Olympic mascots. Their names are Quatchi, Sumi, and Miga. A lot of the events will take place in Whistler BC. There will be entertainment like parties, parades, shows, and music. The Olympic Cauldron will be lit in Vancouver on Februrary the 12th. Canada has never won a gold medal at a Games, Summer or Winter, that it has hosted and hopefuly that will change at the 2010 Olympic Games.Tuesday, January 5, 2010
